Advent Book Appeal Success

Omushana Admin |

Once again our Christmas appeal to buy a book every day in December in the run up to Christmas (the Advent Appeal) was a huge success. Thanks to some fantastic support we were able to purchase 46 books!

The 46 books which were bought as a result of our December 2019 appeal will reach our four Community Library projects during 2020.  This is a really valuable addition to our Books for Fun programme as these are books which the Librarians use to read to the children - a very popular activity!  It's so important to have lots of lovely new books arriving regularly to keep everyone excited and enthused by reading and stories.

Thank you to everyone who donated to this appeal.
