Thanks to a generous donation from Susan Caroline of Pengwern Books in Shrewsbury, lots and lots of World Book Day books have made their way to Uganda!
Omushana has been distributing them to our Community Libraries and schools around Bwindi Forest with the suggestion that they set up Book Clubs to read the books and share discussions about them.We also ran a competition for the best book reviews written over the 2019 Christmas holiday period to encourage kids to engage with what they're reading.
