Fabulous Book Donations

Omushana Admin |

Massive thanks for the donations of childrens books for our Community Libraries!

Literally hundreds of books have been donated by our supporters for our Community Libraries in Buhoma, Ruhija, Rubuguri and (coming soon!) Mgahinga – all on the edges of the gorilla forests in SW Uganda.  We’ve been sent books by Wightwick Hall School in Wolverhampton, Condover and The Grange Primary Schools in Shropshire, Newnham School in London, Shrewsbury BookFest, the Field Studies Council and Shrewsbury Unitarian Church – WOW.

These books will be boxed up and shipped to Africa very soon.

Lots and lots of boxes!

It is always exciting when one of our shipments of items donated in UK arrives at our projects. In October 2019 we were able to pick up 34 boxes and 12 sewing machines which had departed UK in December 2018!
