Omushana Supports Sports

Omushana Admin |

Omushana's Sports Kit Library got an enormous boost in August thanks to amazing donations from the Richardson family, KitAid, Newnham School and Charville Netball Club as well as gaining support of a regular donor to fund our Sports Kit Library. We received over 40 pairs of boots and trainers, several netball kits and bibs, several football team kits and lots of balls as well as financial support. Most of the kit and equipment will be stored at our Kit Library which provides sports kits on loan to all schools and youth groups around Buhoma Bwindi to use. Some team kits and balls were taken to more remote schools in Kyeshero, Nyakeina, Murushasha, Ruhija and Rushaga.

It is wonderful too that we now have a supporter giving a regular donation towards the running of our Sports Kit Library.

Our volunteers and visitors thoroughly enjoyed several sports days during August including some great games of voleyball and netball.
